This team project was a part of my ME 340 class in my junior year at Penn State. We have been tasked with designing, fabricating, and testing a wind turbine device. the requirements and constraints for this project were set and emphasized by the instructor, and we were supposed to spend the semester learning how to evaluate and overcome each problem and make the necessary trade-offs. This project gave me the opportunity to use my mechanical engineering knowledge in a real-life situation, and to improve my teamwork and communication skills. The final presentation was a success that gave me a sense of achievement after a semester of hard work.
