This project was also a part of my freshman year Engineering Design (EDSGN100) class. I worked in a group of four students, and we were supposed to design an efficient and inexpensive power charging system for cell phones, to be used in rural villages in Kenya. We chose to design a portable wind turbine that can sufficiently generate enough power to charge cell phones for one family. This project taught me two things: how important teamwork is in solving problems, and how to communicate professionally with other team members.
